SSC CPO 2020-21 Notification
The exam for the Central Police Organization is administered by the SSC (CPO). Candidates who want to work for the Indian government’s Central Police Department should be familiar with every aspect of the SSC CPO exam.
The Commission issued the SSC CPO notification for the 2020 recruitment exam on 17th June 2020. SSC confirmed the vacancy, and important dates for different events, such as the opening and closing dates of the online application, exam dates, pattern, syllabus, and eligibility, via the CPO notification.
On 21st July, the Staff Selection Commission issued a CPO notification announcing the revised dates for the CPO paper I 2020 exam. According to the SSC CPO notification, the exam will now be held from 23rd November to 26th November 2020.
Previously, according to the CPO notification issued by SSC on 1st June, the exam date for Paper I was scheduled for 29th September 2020, but it was postponed. The SSC CPO notification 2020 is discussed in detail below.
SSC CPO 2020-21 Exam Dates

SSC CPO Salary
According to the SSC CPO Notification, the SSC CPO salary for various posts are:
- Sub-Inspector (GD) in (Central Armed Police Forces): Rs 35,400 – Rs 1,12,400
- Sub Inspector (Executive) – (Male/Female) in Delhi Police: Rs 35400 – Rs 1,12,400
- Assistant Sub-Inspector (Executive) in CISF: Rs 29,200 – Rs 92,300
SSC CPO Online Application
Before filling out the CPO application form, candidates can read all of the relevant details and instructions related to the application process.
- Go to the official website and log in.
- Fill in the registration window’s basic information.
- Fill out the application and submit it. A registration ID will be provided to you.
- Use your Registration ID and password to log in.
- Complete all remaining steps and send all necessary documents.
- Upload your picture and a scanned copy of your signature in the desired dimensions.
- Complete the payment process.
- Check for any errors in all of the details you’ve provided.
- Fill out the application form and submit it. You will be through with your registration.
- Take a printout of the application form for your future reference.

SSC CPO Eligibility
Before applying for the SSC CPO Exam, candidates must meet specific requirements.
The following are the requirements for the CPO as mentioned in the SSC CPO notification:
Nationality
A candidate must be an Indian, Nepalese, or Bhutanese citizen.
In the case of migrated Indians from other countries, the necessary documents, such as a proof-of-citizenship document authorized by the Indian government should be present.
Age Limit
Minimum age – 20 years
Maximum age – 25 years
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university to meet the educational requirements of the CPO assigned by the SSC.

SSC CPO Syllabus
The Paper I and Paper II Exams are both computer-based.
General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge and Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension are among the topics covered in the SSC CPO syllabus for Paper I.
The English Language & Comprehension in Paper-II evaluates the candidates’ vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, sentence structure, etc.

SSC CPO Admit Card
Through the SSC CPO Notification, the Staff Selection Commission will soon update the Admit card and Schedule for the Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPFs, and ASI in CISF Exam, 2020.
SSC CPO Admit Cards are released in accordance with the exam schedule. The SSC CPO Admit Card Notification is expected to be released by the end of August or early September, with Paper I of the exam starting 29th September 2020.
SSC CPO Admit Card (AC) for the Examination will be posted on the website of the concerned Regional Office at least two weeks before the examination date, indicating the timetable and the examination venues for each candidate.
