The Staff Selection Commission of India conducts the SSC GD Exam to recruit applicants for the General Duty posts of Constables (GD) in the BSF, CISF, ITBP, CRPF, and Rifleman in the AR. The Commission will issue the SSC GD Constable 2021 Notification in the first week of May 2021. Candidates will apply for this role by going to the SSC website (ssc.nic.in).

Every year, thousands of people take the SSC GD Constable Exam in the hopes of joining the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), the National Investigation Agency (NIA), the Secretariat Security Force (SSF), & the Assam Rifles.

SSC GD Notification 2021

The official notification for the SSC GD Constable 2021 exam was supposed to be released on 25th March 2021, but it has yet to be released for various reasons. In the first week of May 2021, the Staff Selection Commission of India will issue the official notification for SSC GD (Constables) 2021.  The total number of vacancies is expected to be more than 40,000 filled through the SSC GD 2021 Exam. SSC will advertise the examination based on the vacancies announced by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

SSC GD 2021 Exam Dates

Finally, the SSC has published the SSC GD 2021 Exam Dates, as well as the Commission’s annual exam schedule. The SSC GD 2021 exam will be held from 2nd August to 25th August 2021. Exam dates for the SSC GD 2021 Exam are as follows:

SSC GD Recruitment 2021

Following the SSC GD 2021 Notification release, the recruitment process for SSC GD 2021 will begin. Candidates must register for the SSC GD 2021 Exam online. 

 

SSC GD 2021 Exam will be held for constables in the BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA, and riflemen in the Assam Rifles (AR). The SSC GD 2021 recruitment process will consist of four stages: a computer-based test (CBT), a physical standard test (PST), a physical efficiency test (PET), and a medical test.

SSC GD 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the post of GD Constable (BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA, and riflemen) must have passed 10th class or equivalent from a recognised board.

 

Age Limit: To be qualified for the SSC GD 2021 Exam, a candidate must be between the ages of 18 and 23. According to government regulations, applicants from reserved groups get age relaxation. The age limit date will be calculated using the date 1st August 2021.

SSC GD 2021 Online Application

Soon after the release of the official notification, the online application process for the SSC GD 2021 exam will begin. SSC will activate the online application link for SSC GD Constable 2021 Exam in May 2021 on the official website of SSC.

 

How to Apply for SSC GD Constable 2021?

After the notification is issued, candidates can apply online by going to ssc.nic.in->Apply->’GD-Constable’ and clicking on the ‘Apply’ link.

SSC GD Online Application Fee

For male candidates, the SSC GD application fee is Rs 100. Women, SC/ST, PWD/ESM candidates, however, are excluded from paying application fees.

 

SSC GD Constable Vacancy 2021

The total number of vacancies for the SSC GD Constable 2021 exam will be released along with the notification. SSC GD Recruitment was conducted in 2018 to fill 58373 vacancies. In January 2021, the final results were announced, with a total of 58373 candidates (Male-50066, Female-8307 ) being selected for the positions of Constable (GD) and Rifleman (GD). SSC GD 2021 Exam Pattern

The SSC GD 2021 Exam will be divided into three parts:

 

• Written examination (Computer Based)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Physical Standard Test (PST)

 

The Commission will only conduct the Computer Based Examination (CBE) in English and Hindi. The exam will be an objective form examination with four parts. There will be 25 questions, each worth one mark. If a question is answered incorrectly, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
