IBPS SO 2021 – Eligibility, Syllabus, Vacancy and Exam Date

A Specialist Officer, as recruited by the IBPS exam, works in various public sector banks in India. The IBPS exam, which is a three tier exam, is conducted on an annual basis by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.

About the Exam

Preliminary exam, mains and the personal interview are the three stages of the IBPS SO exam. The exam, which requires the candidate to answer 150 questions within 2 hours, will be conducted online. The exam is conducted in Hindi and English.

Eligibility

The minimum age is 20 years and the maximum age is 30 years. But a relaxation of 5 years is given to Schedule Caste and Scheduled Tribes, relaxation of 10 years is given to persons with benchmark disability and a relaxation of 3 years is given to non-creamy layer OBC candidates.
There are specific educational qualifications required for each post. For example, a candidate applying for the Law Officer’s post (Scale 1) has to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
Candidates from the General Category are to pay Rs. 600 as exam fees, while candidates from the reserved category are to pay Rs. 100.
