The Kerala SET or State Entrance Test exam is an exam conducted by the state government of Kerala to evaluate and recruit teachers for higher secondary schools in the state. Every year many aspiring candidates apply for this exam and the exam is usually conducted in the month of March every year.

One of the most important points in this criteria is the nationality of the candidate; only the candidates having Indian nationality can apply for the Kerala SET examination.

As per the guidelines given by the state government of Kerala, there is no upper age limit to appear for the Kerala SET examination. Any candidate with Indian nationality and above the age of 18 years can apply for the exam.
The State Government of Kerala offers a certain relaxation in marks for SC/ST candidates. Aspirants from the SC/ST category who want to apply for the Kerala SET exam are granted a 5% marks relaxation in the minimum marks which they need to possess in their qualifying exam that makes them eligible to appear for the Kerala SET exam.
