Overseer Grade 2 Latest Recruitment – Eligibility Criteria

Age limit

Minimum age – 18 years 

Maximum age – 36 years 

Candidates must have been born between 2nd Jan 1985 and 1st Jan 2003 (both dates included) to be considered for the position.

Upper age relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Communities will be provided according to government guidelines. In any case, the concessions in the upper age limit will be subject to the strict condition that the maximum age limit does not exceed 50 years.

Educational Qualifications

1. Candidates must have a three-year recognised diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject of Electrical.

2. SSLC or similar qualification is and should possess any of the following qualifications:
   1. Two-year course with a certificate from the Kerala government, or
   2. A Diploma in Draftsmanship in the Draftsman Trade (6 months with practical training) in an 18-month programme at the Industrial Training Institute/Center of the Ministry of Labour, Government of India.

The recent notification states that there is only 1 vacancy for the direct recruitment of Overseer grade 2.  The position is currently open, and the rank list generated after the exam and interview will be valid for one year or a maximum of three years for filling vacancies.
