SSC MTS, or Staff Selection Commission-Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination, is a national level exam held by SSC to recruit applicants in General Central Service Group-C non-gazetted, non-ministerial positions in various ministries, departments, and offices of the Indian Government.

SSC MTS 2021 Eligibility 

  • The applicant must be an Indian citizen and/or subject of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugee, Person of Indian Origin
  • The applicant’s age must be between 18 to 27 years as of 1st August 2020
  • The applicant must have passed Class 10 from a recognised board

SSC MTS Selection Process 2021

Here are the steps of the SSC MTS selection process 2021.

Step 1: Fill SSC MTS application form

Applicants must first fill out the SSC MTS 2021 application form on the commission’s official website. 

Step 2: Download SSC MTS admit card

Applicants can download their SSC MTS admit card 2021 by accessing the commission’s regional websites. The SSC MTS admit card includes all relevant information about the applicant (such as name, roll number, and category) and the exam (such as exam centre name, address).

Step 3: Appear for SSC MTS Paper-I

The SSC MTS Paper-I is a 90-minute computer-based exam. The test consists primarily of questions from the subjects –  English, Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, and General Awareness.

Step 4: Appear for SSC MTS Paper-II

Applicants who clear paper I can sit for SSC MTS paper II. The SSC MTS exam paper-II is a detailed examination that takes 30 minutes. Candidates must write a short essay or letter in English or another regional language for this paper. 

Step 5: Check SSC MTS result

The Staff Selection Commission will release the final SSC MTS result on its official website after all papers have been cleared.  Applicants who pass the exam will be required to attend the document verification round.

Step 6: Appear for SSC MTS document verification round

Finally, all qualified applicants should attend the document verification round with all original documents required by the commission. All applicants whose documents are successfully verified will be allocated services based on the available vacancies.
