Team Direction The Indian Railways has released a notification for the Southern Railway Paramedical Recruitment 2021. Candidates can apply online at sr.indianrailways.gov.in.
GOC will employ para-medical staff on a contract basis for their headquarters railway hospital in Perambur, Chennai. (Designated Hospital for COVID-19) on a contract basis until 30th September 2021. On or before 30th April 2021, qualified and interested candidates can apply for the positions online at sr.indianrailways.gov.in. The application link is currently active on the official website for candidates to apply.
There are a total of 191 vacancies for the positions of Superintendents, Physiotherapist, ECG Technician, Haemodialysis Technician, Hospital Assistant/ House Keeping Assistants, Lab Assistant & Radiographer.

Southern Railway Paramedical Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria
| Nursing Superintendents | Candidates between the ages of 20 and 40 years old who have completed a three-year course in general nursing and midwifery from a school of nursing or another institution recognised by the Indian Nursing Council or B.Sc(Nursing) can apply |
| Physiotherapist | Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised university & 2 years of practical experience in Physiotherapy from a Government/ Private Hospital with at least one hundred beds |
| ECG Technician | 10+2/Graduation in Science with a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in ECG Laboratory Technology, Cardiology, Cardiology Technician, or Cardiology Techniques from a recognised institution. Nursing Staff – Certified as a Registered Nurse and Midwife after completing a 3-year course in general nursing and midwifery from a school of nursing or another institution accredited by the Indian Nursing Council, or a bachelor’s degree in nursing science (Nursing) |
| Hospital Attendant | Candidates with a 10th pass certificate and experience in ICU/Dialysis will be preferred |
| Haemodialysis Technician | B.Sc plus (a) a Haemodialysis Diploma (OR) (b) two years adequate in-house Haemodialysis & job experience from a reputable institution (Document proof to be uploaded). Candidates between the ages of 20 and 33 years old can apply for Lab Assistant Grade 2 if they have completed their 12th grade with DMLT. |
| Lab Assistant Gr. II | 12th in Science plus (a) Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) (OR) (b) Certificate course in Medical Lab. Technology at par with) Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) subject to the fulfilment of (1) The course has been done from the institution that is recognised by a university or Technical Board of State Government/Central Government authority; (2) The duration of the course is at least 1 year; (3) During the course, the candidate should have done the training on a full-time basis; (4) At the end of the course, there should be a system of examination that has been successful passes by the candidate |
| Radiographer | 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry and a recognised institution’s Diploma in Radiography/X-Ray Technician/Radio Diagnosis Technology (2 years course). Candidates must be between the ages of 19 and 33. |
