What is SBI PO 2020 Recruitment?
Every year, the State Bank of India (SBI) conducts an SBI PO exam to select candidates for the Probationary Officer position. A huge number of people apply for the exam, but only a limited number of people are selected based on the number of vacancies. The SBI PO exam is one of the most desirable banking exams in the country. Effective candidates are appointed to the bank’s various branches as Probationary Officers.

21st February 2021: SBI PO 2020-21 Interview Call Letter has been released by the State Bank of India (SBI).
16th February 2021: The main result for the SBI PO 2020-21 has been announced by the State Bank of India.
SBI PO 2020 Interview Call Letter
On 20th February 2021, the SBI PO 2020 admit card for the interview has been released. By logging in with registration number or roll number and date of birth or password, candidates can download their SBI PO admit cards for Interview before 7th March 2021 from the official website.
SBI PO 2020 Result
The mains exam result for SBI PO 2020 was released on 16th February. The roll numbers of qualified candidates are included in the PDF version of the result.
The scorecard will be published shortly. Candidates must type their registration number or roll number and their date of birth to download their scorecard. The candidate’s name, roll number, identification number, category, date of birth, total marks, marks scorecard, and category-wise cutoff marks are displayed on the scorecard. Candidates were chosen for Phase-III based on their performance in the mains exam (Interview).
SBI PO Cutoff 2020
The cutoff for the mains exam for SBI PO 2020 will be announced along with the scorecard. Candidates must enter the required credentials to check the cutoff marks. In the SBI PO mains exam, there is no sectional cutoff.
SBI PO 2020 Mains Exam Analysis
The mains exam of SBI PO 2020 was moderate to tough. The section on logic and computer aptitude was mild to tough. The section on data processing and interpretation was challenging. The section on general/economic/banking knowledge was moderate, and the section on the English language was easy to moderate. SBI PO mains exam descriptive examination was moderate.

SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2020
Educational qualification as of 31st December 2020
Candidates who have completed their graduation in any discipline are eligible to apply, according to the SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2020. Candidates who are in the middle of their final year/semester exams are also eligible to join. Candidates who are shortlisted for the interview round must, however, include proof of graduation.
Age Criteria as of 1st April 2020
Candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 30. It should be noted that reserved group candidates obtain age relaxation, as detailed below.

SBI PO Selection Process 2020
Here is the complete selection process of SBI PO 2020-21.
Step 1: Fill the SBI PO Application Form
For SBI PO 2020 registrations, candidates must first fill out and submit an online application form on the bank’s official website. After that, candidates must pay the SBI PO application fee online using a debit card, credit card, or internet banking.

Step 2: Download SBI PO Admit Card/ Call Letter
Candidates can get their SBI PO 2020 admit card from the bank’s official website. Admit cards for preliminary, main, and Group Exercises and Interview admit cards are distributed separately. It should be noted that the call letter will not be sent via post to candidates.
Step 3: Appear for the Phase I Preliminary Exam
After that, candidates shall appear for the Preliminary exam at the designated exam centre. Candidates must answer questions relating to the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability during the preliminary exam that would last one hour.
Step 4: Appear for the Phase II Mains Exam
Candidates who qualified for the preliminary exam must sit for the SBI PO 2020 Mains exam. Shortlisted candidates for the mains exam are 10 times the number of vacancies. Candidates must complete the Mains exam in 3 hours and 30 minutes, which comprises both objective and descriptive questions.
Step 5: Phase III Interview only or Group Exercises and Interview
Due to the pandemic, SBI will only perform interviews or group exercises and interviews this year. Candidates shortlisted for interview only or group exercises and interview are up to three times the number of vacancies.
Step 6: SBI PO result
SBI PO results are published online in stages for various stages of recruitment. The results will be available in PDF format on the official website. Candidates can check their qualifying status in the result. SBI PO cut off is released along with the scorecard.

SBI PO Salary 2020
Basic Pay: The starting basic pay of an SBI PO is Rs 27,620 (with four advance increments).
Pay Scale: Rs 23,700-980/7-30,560-1145/2-32,850-1310/7-42,020 applicable to Junior Management.
Allowances: DA, CCA, HRA/Lease rental, Medical and other allowances & perquisites are provided as per rules.
SBI PO Exam Day Guidelines 2020
- Candidates’ temperatures were checked at the entrance gate.
- In order to take the mains examination, candidates had to wear a mask.
- Candidates could bring a 50 mL transparent hand sanitiser bottle to the exam centre.
- Candidates were allowed to bring a printed copy of their admit card to the exam centre.
- Candidates were also required to bring a photo id.
- Candidates were told to arrive at the exam centre one hour prior to the scheduled reporting time.
- Inside the exam room, no cellphones or other mobile devices were permitted.
- Candidates were required to follow the invigilator’s directions in the exam hall.
