The prelims exam for SBI Clerk 2021 has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The bank will soon announce the revised exam dates. Candidates for the positions of Junior Associate (Customer Support) and Sales will be recruited by SBI Clerk 2021. More than 5000 vacancies have been announced for the SBI Clerk 2021 recruitment. 

The SBI Clerk 2021 application process was open from 27th April to 20th May.

SBI Clerk 2021 Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Age limit

Candidates for SBI Clerk 2020 must be between the ages of 20 and 28. According to government regulations, candidates from the reserved categories are given a relaxation in the upper age limit.

Educational Qualification

  • Graduation is the most important educational qualification for the SBI clerk 2021. 
  • Applicants with an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate are also eligible to take the exam.
  • Candidates in their last year/semester of studies are eligible to apply provisionally. They must show documentation that they passed the exam on or before the joining date.

SBI Clerk Recruitment Application Form 2021

The application form for SBI Clerk is now accessible online. For both the General and OBC categories, the application cost is Rs 750. On the other hand, SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS candidates are excluded from paying the application fees. Candidates can make changes to their SBI Clerk application form within the registration deadline. Registration, uploading scanned images of your photo and signature, filling out the detailed application form, submitting a handwritten declaration and left thumb impression, previewing the application form, and paying the fee were all part of the procedure.

SBI Clerk Selection Process 2021

The selection process of SBI clerk 2021 includes online tests (preliminary and mains exam) and specified opted local language tests. On the basis of the prelims exam, 10 times the number of vacancies are selected for the mains exam. Candidates need to score minimum aggregate marks (For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS candidates, 5% relaxation is available). The merit list will be released state-wise and category-wise.

Candidates who pass the mains exam are allocated to states and categories in descending order based on their overall marks. Those who pass the mains exam are invited to take local language exams. Candidates will be considered for appointment based on their performance in the mains exam and their qualifications in the specified local language test. The results of the preliminary exam will not be used in the selection process.
