The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has specified unique eligibility criteria for recruiting Grade B Officers. Candidates who do not meet the RBI Grade B Officer eligibility requirements will not take the RBI Grade B exam. This article will cover all you need to know about RBI Grade B Eligibility.
The Reserve Bank of India sets RBI Grade B Eligibility. To appear for the Officer cadre exam, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

- Educational qualification

RBI Grade B 2021 Eligibility – Nationality
The candidate must be –
- A citizen of India
- A Nepalese/Bhutanese subject
- A Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before 1st January 1962 intending to settle permanently in India
- A person of Indian origin who has permanently settled in India after migrating from Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and the East African countries of the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam

RBI Grade B 2021 Age Limit
The RBI has set an upper and lower age limit for candidates who want to undergo the RBI Grade B Exam. The table below shows the upper age limit for candidates depending on their category:

The RBI Grade B Age Limit is relaxed for candidates who fall into one of the reserved categories. For candidates applying under the reservation quota, the age limit relaxation on the RBI Grade B exam is as follows:

RBI Grade B Officer Eligibility – Number Of Attempts
According to the RBI Grade B Officer Eligibility, candidates from various categories are allowed a limited number of attempts to appear for RBI Grade B exams.
Regularly taking RBI Grade B Mock Tests is recommended for comprehensive examination preparation.
According to RBI Grade B Officer eligibility, candidates in the General Category are allowed to take the exam a maximum of 6 times.
Candidates of the SC/ST, OBC, and PwD category can take the RBI Grade B exam as many times as they want to before they meet the maximum age limit.
