SBI Pharmacist Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification (as of 01/01/2021)
- Passing the SSC or equivalent examination and obtaining a minimum Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) from a recognised university or board is required, OR
- A degree in pharmacy (B Pharma/M Pharma/Pharma D) or an equivalent degree in pharmacy from a recognised university is required.
Age Limit (as of 31/12/2020)
Candidates must be 30 years or less to apply for this position.
Work Experience (as of 01/01/2021)
In the case of a diploma educational qualification, three years of post-educational experience as a pharmacist or compounder is required. It is important to be able to provide first-aid treatment independently for accidents. OR
In the case of a B Pharmacy/M Pharmacy educational qualification, one year of post-educational experience as a pharmacist or compounder is required. It is important to be able to administer first-aid care independently for accidents.
Note: Applicants must be registered pharmacists under the Pharmacists Act with the State Pharmacy Council or a similar recognised body.

SBI Pharmacist 2021: Selection Procedure
These two stages will be followed in the selection of pharmacists for clerical cadre positions:
- Online written examination
- Interview
Written and interview weightings are proposed to be 40% and 60%, respectively. The Bank will determine the passing marks in the written test and interview and the overall passing marks.
