Kerala Public Service Commission conducts Kerala Administrative Service (KAS) exam. This exam is conducted to fill the vacancies of KAS Officer (Junior Time Scale) Trainee, Stream-1, Stream-2, and Stream-3.

How to prepare for Kerala KAS Exam 2020-21?

Candidates should be aware that the Kerala Public Service Commission conducts exams for different positions, including Deputy Collector. Kerala Administrative Services (KAS) exam is divided into three stages:

  3. Personality Test

Kerala PSC KAS Preparation– History

History asked in the Kerala PSC KAS exam is divided into 5 sections: 


  1. Ancient history
  2. Modern history
  3. World history
  4. Kerala history
  5. The cultural heritage of Kerala


The candidates should refer to the school textbooks to study this subject properly. Also, they can refer to the important topics of History in UPSC 2021. 

Kerala PSC KAS Preparation– Indian Polity

For the Polity exam, school textbooks are equally relevant. Candidates should use M. Laxmikanth’s Indian Polity book to learn about the fundamentals of the Constitution.


Candidates should repeat the same process for the remaining subjects, such as geography and economics.
