IBPS

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, or IBPS, is a self-governing organisation. Except for the SBI, it holds recruitment exams for all Public Sector Banks.
 
It has also provided services related to assessment and testing for different banks across various bank exams over the years.
 
A board of nominees from various government bodies and banks, including the RBI, Ministry of Finance, IIT Mumbai, NIBM, and IBA, governs the Institute. The same year, a small set of centralised examinations covering all public sector bank recruitment started. In the late 2000s, the entire process was done digitally.
 
The IBPS regulates the following exams:

  • IBPS PO Examination
  • IBPS SO Examination
  • IBPS Clerk Examination
  • IBPS RRB Examination

 

IBPS Recruitment 

The IBPS Recruitment details include information about the IBPS Salary, vacancies, posts, etc.
 
IBPS recruitment 2020 for different posts is already underway, and the notifications for Probationary Officers, Clerks, and Regional Rural Bank recruitment for 2021 will be issued shortly.
 
The government has also approved the National Recruitment Agency (NRA) to conduct a Common Eligibility Test (CET) for SSC, RRB, and IBPS recruitment as per the latest information.

IBPS Vacancies

The IBPS Vacancies are decided by the Public Sector Bank exams’ recruiting body.
 
In recent years, both the number of vacancies and the number of applications have increased.

IBPS PO

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection announces IBPS PO Vacancies. The IBPS PO vacancies for the 2020 recruitment have been announced, with a total of 1417 positions available.
 

IBPS SO

Usually, IBPS SO vacancy details are issued for the following positions:

  • I.T. Officer (Scale-I)
  • Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I)
  • Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I)
  • Law Officer (Scale I)

IBPS Clerk

The Institute of Banking Staff Selection announced state-wise IBPS Clerk vacancies in the official Notification for Clerk exam on 1st September 2020. For recruitment 2020, there are a total of 2557 vacancies.
 

IBPS RRB

The IBPS RRB Vacancies are announced in the official RRB Exam Notification.
 
According to the IBPS Recruiting, the following RRB positions are available:
 

  • Group A- Officers (Scale I, II & III)
  • Group B- Office Assistant

IBPS PO Interview

All who clear the Bank PO Mains exam are entitled to an IBPS interview. According to the IBPS PO Exam pattern, the interview carries 100 marks.
 
To be considered for the merit list, candidates must score at least 40 marks in the interview, regardless of their total exam score.
 
Candidates from the weaker sections of society are granted a 5-mark concession in the IBPS PO Interview, according to the IBPS PO Exam pattern.

About IBPS

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. The IBPS regulates a variety of bank exams to recruit applicants for positions in public sector banks.
