Scale of Pay

The salary of UDC and Steno. ranges from Rs. 25,500-81,100 and MTS is Rs. 18,000-56,900. Those who are enrolling to these posts will get allowances like DA, HRA and Transport Allowance etc. 

Qualification

1. Qualification of UDC is a degree of a recognized University or equivalent. Candidates should also has working knowledge of computer including use of office suites and databases.

2. Educational qualification of Steno. is 12th class pass or equivalent. Norms for the Skill Test of Steno. are: 

  • Dictation: 10 Minutes at 80 words per minute.
  • Transcription: 50 minutes (English), 65 minutes (Hindi) (Only on computers)

3. Qualification of MTS is matriculation or equivalent pass from recognized Board.

Age Limit

PostAge limit (as on 15th February, 2022)

MTS18 to 25 years

SC/ST candidate will get a Age Relaxation of 5 years and 3 years for OBC.

Mode OF EXAMINATION for UDC: 

The process of recruitment of UDC consist of 3 levels such as Phase I – Preliminary Examination, Phase II – Main Examination and Phase III – Computer Skill Test. Phase –I Preliminary Examination is qualifying in nature and this mark is not taken into account for final merit. A negative marking of one fourth of the mark will be there for each wrong answer.

50 questions are there in Objective Type Computer Test. It is of 50 Marks. Since the computer Skill Test will be qualifying in nature, the mark is not taken into account for merit ranking.

MODE OF EXAMINATION for STENOGRAPHER

Stenographer Examination consist of two levels. Such as Phase – I Main Examination and Phase II – Skill Test in Stenography 

For the final selection, the marks obtained in Phase – I Main Examination will be considered. A negative marking of one fourth of the mark will be there for each wrong answer.

There will be a Skill Test of Stenography for the shortlisted candidates. The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi at the speed of 80 words per minute. The candidate also have to transcribe matter on the Computer.

  2. Click on “APPLY ONLINE FOR RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF UDC/ STENO./ MTS IN ESIC ” 
  3. Click on the “Click here for Registration” tab. 
  4. Enter Name, Contact details and Email-id.
  5. Provisional Registration number and Password will be sent through an Email & SMS.
  6. Fill and verify the details filled in the online application 
  7. Click on the ‘Complete Registration Button’.
  8. Click on the ‘Validate your details’ and ‘Save & Next’.
  9. As per the specifications, upload Photo & Signature. 
  10. Fill other details of the Application Form.
  11. Click on the COMPLETE REGISTRATION.
  12. Click on ‘Payment’ Tab and proceed for payment.
  13. Click on ‘Submit’ button.
