The Central Universities Common Entrance (CUcET) is a common entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency for UG Admissions across all the Central Universities in India. There are 54 Central Universities that will be taking admissions in UG courses based on the CUET 2022 score. This article will discuss the exam pattern of the CUCET Exam in detail.

Duration
The CUET exam will be an online Computer Based Test. The duration of the exam will be depending on the options the candidate has chosen, it may be 3 Hours 15 minutes or 3 Hours 45 minutes. The duration of Slot 1 will be 3 Hours 15 Minutes and Slot 2 will be 3 Hours 45 Minutes
Number of Sections
The exam will be conducted in 13 languages. There are three sections for the examination. Section 1 is a Languages Paper, Section 2 is Domain-Specific and Section 3 is General Test.
Number of Questions
There are 40 Questions to be attempted out of 50 Questions in Section 1. In Section 2 there are 40 Questions to be attempted out of 50 Questions. In General Test Section 3 there will be 60 Questions to be attempted out of 75 Questions.
Marking Scheme
As per the official notification, 5 marks will be awarded for every correct attempt. 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. There will be no penalty for unattempted questions.
